Sentiments the whole world can see.

Lately, I have been getting into a new creative grove. For the past few months I feel like I’ve been looking at everything a little differently. Maybe it’s the dystopian world we live in, the constant food recalls or the destruction of public lands and human rights, but I have been yearning for creative optimism and very intentional happiness. I desperately need to side-step the bullshit that’s all around us, and art, activism and community are helping me do just that. Hen of the Woods is a vault of my own well-being, of jubilation, collectivism and bliss. In the depths of winter and fascist regimes, I’ll be able to remind myself of all the good things, no matter how small, that make life worth living and protecting for myself and my community. So…here I am, ready to document all the things that make me feel something.
